YOUNG ADULTS

If you’re a young adult (20s-30s) in the Harrisonburg area, we are eager to connect and walk with you during this time of your life.

It doesn’t matter if you feel firm in your faith or are simply seeking answers to life’s big questions. Wherever you’re at, there are ways to get connected.

Be Our Guest on a Sunday Morning

One of the best ways to experience First Pres is to join us for worship on a Sunday morning. We have two worship times: 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. At 9 a.m., we meet in the sanctuary for a contemporary service. At 11:15 a.m., we have concurrent worship happening: a traditional service in the sanctuary and a contemporary service in Showker Hall, our multipurpose space. Find out more here or check out this week’s worship guide here.

Sunday Night Dinner & Study for Young Adults

Join us on Sunday evenings at 5 p.m. for our small-group Bible study, which meets over dinner at the home of one of our covenant partners. Want to know more? Fill out the form below.

Get Connected with a Ministry

We don’t silo people by age, so at First Pres, you’re never too young to start serving or growing. Join a Sunday school class or connect with some of our other ministries. We think great things happen when different generations interact.

In College?

If you’re a college student at James Madison University, Eastern Mennonite University, Bridgewater College or Blue Ridge Community College, we have a group for you, too. Find out more.
