Youth

Our youth are an integral part of who we are at First Presbyterian Church. We embrace a multi-generational view of ministry. Here, you won’t find the youth off in their own corner. They are part of all we do. Those who work with our youth, including Associate Pastor Billy Craig, show them who Jesus is in a range of ways, from Sunday school and small groups to retreats and mission trips.

Youth Large Group

We gather for worship, food and fellowship. We’ll also hear a message from a fellow follower of Jesus who will help us apply our faith to real life. Sundays, 6:30-8 p.m., Showker Hall

Breakfast Small Groups

Middle- and high-school students gather for friendship and for a Bible study. And, of course, those chicken biscuits! Wednesdays, 6:30 a.m., Chick-fil-A

Sunday-Morning Discipleship Groups

The youth discipleship classes for grades 6 through 12 meet during the school year from 10:15-11 a.m. Sundays. We have groups for middle- and high-school students. Contact Billy Craig for more details.

Youth Events and Retreats

Throughout the year youth group activities are planned. Also, the Middle School and High School youth go on a number of retreats each year. These retreats include MS Modgnik in September,  MS The Edge Conference in June, MS/HS Disciple Now in February, HS Modgnik in April, HS Renew Camp in June, and either a HS summer mission trip or Leadership conference. Contact Billy Craig for more information regarding the youth calendar.
