Prayer

It’s the greater work

A Praying Church

At First Presbyterian, we desire to be a praying church, both individually and corporately. Here are some ways we can do this.

Worship Intercessors

When we worship together on Sunday, we have specific people praying for our worship, that it would be a time of praise to our God and a time when we hear His voice.

Intercessory Prayer Group

A group gathers on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. to pray for each other, covenant partners, our church ministries and more. The group is open to any who want to pray.

Prayer Lists

Our weekly e-newsletter includes dozens of people and situations for you to pray about. It is a good starting point for your personal times of prayer. Keep it with you as you go about your week and pray for those on the list. It includes covenant partners who can no longer worship with us, family who are in the military, the ill, community needs and more. The church also has a prayer chain for urgent needs. You can receive those notifications by email by requesting them from the church office.
