College Students

If you’re a student at JMU, Bridgewater College, Eastern Mennonite University or Blue Ridge Community College, we are eager to meet you and be part of your college years. Whether you’ve grown up in church or are wondering what Christianity is about, you’ll find First Pres to be a place where you can grow in your faith meet other students and local residents, and enjoy time away from studying.

College students at First Pres engage in all aspects of our life together. We have lots of places where you can serve and grow.

Worship

We invite you to join us to worship on Sundays at 9 a.m. or 11:15 a.m. We also stream our worship on our YouTube channel.

Brunch & Study

One of the main ways our college students gather is by having brunch and conversation. Join us for brunch at 10:15 a.m. Sundays (between our two worship times). Our time together includes a meal, sharing about life and discussing the day’s sermon. The brunch meets at 9 Court Square, which is right across the Courtyard from the main building.
