Children & Family Ministries

Children are a gift from the Lord, and we want to help them grow in faith. We also want to help equip families to be the primary faith-builders in their children’s lives.

Children’s Church

At First Presbyterian we love to engage children in the worship of the One who made them and loves them! It is a privilege to partner with parents in this endeavor. Children are welcome to stay and worship through the entirety of the service with their families or to join us in Children’s Church during the latter part of the church service.

Children’s Church at First Presbyterian is a time of worship with the youngest members of our congregation. Through prayer, Bible memory, crafts and activities children experience time in the Word of God with age-appropriate lessons. Children’s Church is offered to children ages 3 – 2nd grade during 9 a.m. worship.

Nursery

We offer nursery at the 9 a.m. service and during Sunday school.

Sunday School

We have four groups that meet during the school year:

• Nursery (under age 3)
• Preschool (ages 3-4)
• Kindergarten-2nd Grade
• 3rd-5th Grade

Weekday JAM

Afternoon JAM (Jesus and Me) is on Tuesdays from 4-5:50 p.m. for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Children will enjoy active play, make music with Orff instruments and explore the Bible. Find out more.
