GROWING TOGETHER
Sunday discipleship opportunities for all ages

Prayer for Every Day
Whether you’ve prayed for years or are just starting out, this class is a chance to explore prayer in a meaningful, practical way. We’ll talk about what it is, why it matters, and how it fits into everyday life. Each week includes time to pray together (because we learn by doing) — but no pressure and no perfect words needed. It’s a chance to explore, reflect, and grow in a way that makes prayer feel real and doable. Facilitators: Melissa Jenkins & Karen Thayer. Room 205.
SHAPE: Finding and Fulfilling Your Unique Purpose for Life
Have you ever felt like, “What in the world am I supposed to be doing?” Or: “What am I supposed to be doing in the world?”
Have you ever had any of these questions –
- What can I do well to help others?
- What do I uniquely have to offer?
- How can I serve God?
- What are my spiritual gifts?
- How can I take the next step in my faith journey?
In this group, you will develop your own personal profile and engage in meaningful discussion. We will also explore spiritual gifts so that you can identify them and put them to use. It’s been said that “our deepest joy is found in the place where your deepest passions meet the world’s deepest needs.” Join us as we look for that place. Facilitator: Scott Thayer. Room 200.
Science and Faith
Modern Science asserts that God is no longer necessary to explain the existence of all things including life. Also, the earth is just an insignificant speck among countless specks in the universe. These assertions have weakened the faith of millions of people. This class will challenge these assertions to show the necessity for God in creation of the universe, the creation of life, and the exceptionally unique nature of the planet we call home. Facilitator: Jeff
Jordan. Room 201.
Freedom Letters: Finding Freedom in Christ Through Paul’s Prison Letters
Throughout history, a lot of literature has came from behind bars. From John Bunyan’s “Pilgrim’s Progress” to MLK Jr. and Nelson Mandela, people have used their prison cell as a place to write and tell their story to the world.
Nowhere is this more powerfully seen and more beneficial to the soul then in the prison writings of the Apostle Paul – Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Philemon. (Technically Galatians is not considered a prison epistle, but it is a great introduction to the rest of the letters and is worthy of study.)
Join us as we study these freedom letters and see how in Christ we can find true freedom even in captivity. Facilitator: Scott Dove. Room 202.
Philippians (B.F. Wilson Men’s Fellowship)
A study of the book of Philippians, written by Paul. He showed how to live joyfully in the midst of hardship. Facilitator: Alex Banks. Room 206.
The Words in Red
A study in the book of Matthew examining the Words in Red that are shown as the direct quotations of Jesus. Facilitator: Frank Sprinkel. Room 208.
