Join us for a chili cookoff, plus nachos and a Nerf competition for kids. We'll gather at 4 p.m. at 9 Court Square, and then we'll sample chili at 4:30 so that we can crown First Pres' chili champion. Then join us to watch the kids compete in a Nerf competition, starting around 5:30. We'll even have some intergenerational teams. Register to complete at this link.
End of life discussions can be difficult. What Matters Most to you? End of life planning is a gift to loved ones. You are invited to attend a presentation with a panel of local experts to learn the steps you can take to make this plan. The workshop will include topics on financial, legal, medical and spiritual decisions. This practical plan is intended to bring peace and lessen the burden on loved ones. You'll also be given an opportunity to begin or complete steps outlined in the plan. The workshop presentation will meet at 7:00 PM on Oct. 3 at 9 Court Square, Harrisonburg, Virginia.
