Be the Church in 2024
We’ve witnessed a great deal of momentum in living out our mission and vision in 2023. We’re excited to see what God has in store in 2024. Let’s keep being the church!
Be a Jesus-follower.
Jesus is at the heart of all we do. It’s because of Him that we are who we are, and we seek to honor Him in our worship, discipleship and evangelism.
Be on mission.
Because of your generosity, First Pres supports a dozen global-mission partners around the world. We also are equipping one another for evangelism and are making plans to support church-planting in coming years.
Be a worshipper.
Every Sunday, we gather to sing, pray, confess and hear God’s Word preached. And then we go from there to tell others about Jesus.
Be a servant.
Our love of Jesus compels us to help repair broken places. We do that as we serve through soup kitchen, service projects and work with those who are homeless.
Be a lifelong disciple.
We are committed to Jesus’ command to make disciples, those who follow Jesus. We want to teach everyone how to follow Jesus and how to live and love because of Him.
Be a giver.
To Be the Church, we need everyone. Consider how God wants you to give in 2024 to help continue the momentum we have seen in 2023.

Now what?
First Pres is a church on the move! During 2023, we have experienced continued growth as we have emphasized reaching out to those who don’t yet know Jesus. Our Grow Initiative gave us some powerful momentum toward growing in discipleship and evangelism.
We have to keep moving!
That’s why we need everyone to pray about and consider how you can commit to the church’s mission and vision in 2024. Your pledges of support for the ministries at First Pres help us make wise decisions about how to best steward what God has given us.
