One way we proclaim Jesus is by serving our community, and we have three ways you can do that now and in the coming months.

• Our Soup Kitchen organizers need teams for the Soup Kitchen schedule. The organizers have five of the needed eight teams. They are specifically looking for a team for the second and fourth weeks of February, April, June, August, October and  December. They also need a team for the second week of March, May, July, September and November. The teams serve on Fridays at 11:30 a.m. The Soup Kitchen has been seeing as many as 20 guests in recent weeks, so the need is real!
• Soup Kitchen loves to include homemade cookies as part of their service. You can provide them. Just place two or three in a zip bag that can be frozen and used as needed. Drop them off in the kitchen with a note that they are for Soup Kitchen.
• First Pres will be serving dinner to guests of Open Doors, a shelter of last resort, the week of January 10-16 at the shelter’s location at the former Red Front Supermarket on Chicago Avenue.
