Pickleball Bible Study
Showker Hall 17 Court Square, Harrisonburg, VA, United StatesAmidst the current pickleball craze, First Pres is offering a time to play (or learn how to play) pickleball along with fellowship/prayer and a short Bible study. Those interested are asked to invite an unchurched friend to come and participate with you. This is a five-week session being held on Monday mornings from 10 a.m to 11:30 am. during October beginning Oct. 3. A court has been installed in Showker Hall and paddles will also be available for those just beginning. Our Bible Study will be Frances Chan's "Greater Than.". Men’s Retreat
FPC Men…Retreat! No, don’t go backward…move forward in your pursuit of Jesus by joining other men from up and down the East Coast on Oct. 7-9, 2022, at Young Life’s Rockbridge Alum Springs near Lexington for a weekend of worship, teaching and fellowship. Service of Prayer and Remembrance
Sanctuary 17 Court Square, Harrisonburg, VAThe annual Service of Prayer and Remembrance in memory of those who have died during 2022 will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 in the sanctuary. Refreshments will be served following the service.
The Book of Books
Discover the grand sweep of scripture and see Jesus from the Table of Contents to the maps of your Bible. Open to women of all ages. Feel free to bring your lunch if you'd like. Taught by Lila Gardner.

Chick-fil-A 1691 East Market Street, Harrisonburg, VAMiddle- and high-school students gather for friendship and for a Bible study. Join us for some breakfast and time together at Chick-fil-A. Inclement weather policy: If Rockingham County schools are closed or on a delay, small group will not be held.
GriefShare
Room 208GriefShare is a group that supports those who are grieving a loss. Meeting weekly for three months, the group includes teaching and connecting with a community with others walking through grief. Meets Wednesdays from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. starting Sept. 14-December 14.
Sundays at First Pres
Sunday mornings at First Pres are centered on worship and also include time between the services for growing and connecting. Our regular schedule, with links to current information, is below. 9 a.m. – Contemporary Praise & Worship At this service you can expect modern songs with drums, guitars and other instruments. People will be wearing everything from jeans to suits, tucked and untucked. You’ll find people of all ages and walks of life. 10:15 a.m. – Between the Services – Discipleship & Sunday School Come meet some people in one of our discipleship groups. These groups are an opportunity to connect with others who are learning and growing in their faith. There are groups for all ages. 11:15 a.m. – Traditional Worship At this service, you can expect a pipe organ, classic hymns and historical texts. You’ll find individuals, couples, families and seniors gathered to worship.
