Women’s Bible Study – The Book of Jude

Room 205 17 N. Court Square, Harrisonburg

Why should we bother with Jude, a book so short it isn’t even broken into chapters and contains only 25 verses? Because despite its brief nature, Jude is a powerful book that helps us spot the lies around us and hold onto the truth. That’s definitely a relevant message for today! Scottish Bible commentator William Barclay said that there were times in the history of the church when Jude was possibly the most relevant book of the New Testament. Today is one of those times. Join us on Tuesdays from noon-1 p.m. as Mary Duryea facilitates our study.

JAM for Kids (K-5th Grade)

Children will enjoy active play, make music with Orff instruments and explore the Bible. The program will run on Tuesday afternoons from 4 p.m. to 5:55 p.m. The Orff method involves teaching music through singing and the use of xylophones, glockenspiels, metallophones and rhythm instruments. Children will learn to play and sing while enjoying learning about music and praising the Lord. We plan to have two sections, one for kindergarten to second graders, and another for third to fifth graders. There is no cost to attend. All leaders have passed background checks and completed child-protection training. Register here.
