GriefShare is a weekly seminar and support group for people grieving the death of a loved one. It’s a place where you can be around others who understand how you feel and the pain of your loss. You’ll learn valuable information that will help you through this difficult time in your life. As one person who has participated in GriefShare explained: “Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering.”

Between our worship services, we have groups for children, youth, college students and adults to grow in faith. Children We have four groups for children: Nursery (under age 3), nursery Preschool (ages 3-4), nursery Kindergarten-2nd Grade, Room, Room 310 3rd-5th Grade, Room, Room 308 Youth We have two groups for youth: Middle School (6th-8th grade) - Room 307 High School (9th-12th grade) - Room 301 College Students Students from Harrisonburg’s colleges and universities are invited to homemade brunch in Showker Hall each Sunday from 10:15-11 a.m. Includes a brief devotional and time to connect with other college students and First Pres covenant partners.
